A Message from Stewardship Co-Chairs, Martha and Laura
Did you hear the one about the fellow looking for a good church to call home?
You say no, you haven’t?
Well, this fellow searched around and found a fellowship where the priest and the congregation were reading out loud. They were saying, “We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done.”
The fellow dropped into the pew with a big smile and sigh of relief.
“Hallelujah,” he said to himself, “I’ve found my crowd at last!”
Friends, St. Luke’s is, and will be, the solid foundation of our faith family. What a blessing our church community has been during these uncertain times. As the end of 2021 approaches, we are reminded of all of the things for which we are grateful during this Thanksgiving season. We hope you’ll take a moment on this Giving Tuesday to reflect on ways that you are grateful for St. Luke’s, and please consider making a contribution.
We are thankful for YOU! Thank you to all that have made a commitment to support St. Luke’s with a pledge for 2022. Thank you to all of you that have been able to fulfill your pledge for 2021. You are so very much appreciated! If you have questions about your pledge or are struggling to fulfill your commitment, we understand and are happy to talk with you and answer your questions.
As we enter the season of Advent, let us celebrate the birth of Jesus and the hope the new year brings with grateful hearts!
